Can anyone tell me if the 05 or 06 srt-10's come with traction control. I have an 02 qc 5.9 with new perelli tyres & im lucky to take off in the wet & considering its not a powerfull truck i reacon there would almost be no chance of takin off in the viper. having said that if they do come with traction control I hope you can turn it off cause theres nothin like a full size truck smokin

It has been many members opinion that the Pirelli tires suck. My truck would get squirrelly in the lightest of rains. And I still had decent tread. My truck also darted all over the place even when it was dry. I didn't even wait till they were worn out. I went ahead and replaced them just for the safety factor. But there have been a few here that have not had any problems. But after I replaced my tires, it became a different truck. Much nicer to drive. And no, none of the SRT-10's came with traction control. It's all handled with the right foot.

HA HA HA HA!
Dude....that's funny.
*catches breath*

No traction control on any of the SRT-10 vehicles (cars or trucks).

Traction in the rain will be limited, no matter what tire you put on. You need to be smart and slow down when the roads get wet.
Also, there will be no driving up Mount Kosciusko. :D

If you've got the tire budget, the truck will go through them like Oprah through a turkey dinner. :)

Yes Annu if you think of it that way it could be a form of traction control. Kinda like a restrictor plate on the intake.

But it technically it would not be called a traction control device.

Aren't the snubber bars and extra shock on the RC's considered a form of traction control ? Crude and almost non-functional,but I think that is what it was designed for.:dontknow:

The 'slapper bars' are designed as a type of traction control, if you want to call it that.

The linear shock, aka Hop Damper, is to prevent spool-up of the differential.

Crude? Ehhh...maybe.
Old school? You bet.
Non-functional? Nah. Both systems function as designed.
