Oddly enough, I test drove this old truck this weekend. The thing is absolutely immaculate. It sounds and rides amazing. Anyways though, I'm thinking about trading in my Lightning (gasp) for an SRT-10 and that was the first one I found. The only bad thing about it is that I now know I'm not going to find a better one.
I also drove a night runner yesterday and I'm currently torn between the two. The NR needs some exterior work so I'm a little concerned. The bed has no paint left in it and there are chips all along the truck along with some curb rash on the rims. The dealer said they won't repaint it but I'm meeting a paint shop guy there tonight to see what the damage will be to pay for it myself. Unless it's something amazing though, I might be heading back to Springfield for this one.
If you (the op) could answer this question though. Do you have anyone at the dealership you sold it to that you'd recommend? Some kid was my assigned salesman and his big selling point was that I could join an SRT club. Right... He was a nice enough guy but he just didn't seem to care if I bought the truck or not. And I'd much rather work with someone who can be vouched for.
Any suggestions would be great appreciated.
