On the back of my 05, there is a four wire plug for the trailer hitch hookup. Does anyone know what the four wires are? Like which one is brake, turn, lights, ground? I've looked in the service manual and everywhere else and can't find a breakdown. Mainly looking to see if there is a ground wire in the plug and which one it is.

The flat four wire plug is as follows: brown= tail lights, green= right turn, yellow= left turn, white= ground. Hope this helps you out. Trev.

There's no brake circuit in that plug? Crap, I need the brake light circuit too. Guess I'll have to tap into it from another source.

So, I can't use either of them to power a new third brake light because it would pick up power anytime I hit the affected turn signal. So, I'll have to pick up the brake light power from another source.

Isn't there also a 7 pin plug close to the 4 pin plug that sends a seperate brake light source?

I could just splice into the wiring, but I was hoping to utilize one of the factory plugs.
