E85 conversion Dyno Results

Very pleased with my results. Did the full Squash fuel upgrade and the DSteck E85 Flex Fuel kit at CalSpeed here in Bakersfield. Finally got some E85 fuel and tested the car today. I don't have any graph to post but maybe Jim at CalSpeed will be able to post something later. Here is a short run down on my mods: 2012 CTS V Coupe, 6-speed manual, LS9 cam and springs, Kooks long tubes (1 7/8) with catless X-pipe, stock muffler, stock block (except cam), stock heads, ported snout, NW 102 TB, GForce 4.5 intake, 2.38 upper, 8.6 lower, 1000's (injectors), about 13 - 13.5 lbs of boost.

Baseline tune tonight(safe, 16 degrees timing) on 91 Octane: 623 rwhp SAE corrected @ 6450 rpm. (Uncorrected tonight was at 640 rwhp)

Race tune in November, 2014(max 22 degrees timing) on MS109 unleaded: 682 rwhp SAE corrected.

E85 tune tonight (reading 65% alcohol mix, 23 degrees timing) : 719 rwhp SAE corrected @ 6800 rpm. (Uncorrected tonight was at 736 rwhp). No knock sensor at all.
Injectors reading at 75% capacity. Car idles quiet and smooth at 800 rpm. A real pleasure to drive.

Next Test and Tune at Famoso is Feb 14, 2015. I can't wait, last Test and Tune on Nov. 9th it was 76 degrees and the DA was 2143'. Hoping for DA below 600' and temps in the 50's.
Best ET on Nov. 9th (109 race tune) was 10.852 @ 130.89.

At 22 degrees timing tonight on E85 it made 700.6 rwhp SAE corrected (Uncorrected was 705.4 rwhp).

The torque reading was hard to tell, but it looked like max torque was in the 630 range at peak and still at 565 @ 6800 rpm (above 600 from 3500 rpm and up). Graph was almost flat!

Very impressive! What is the dollar amount in total for the mods performed to this point? Thanks for being so open with all of your builds.

How fast are you spinning the blower with that pulley combo??:dontknow:

Looks like your gonna upset some hellcat owners!!

I don't know how fast the blower is spinning, but stock it's 8-9 lbs boost, and now it's 13-13.5 boost max.

Right at $10,000 with installation. I'm not a mechanic, just a driver with lots of good ideas. I forgot to mention I have the McLeod aluminum flywheel and RXT twin disc clutch. This car is so much fun, it's so quiet and stealthy at low speeds.

What size are the rears?

Rear 20x10 w/ 305-30-20 Bridgestone RE070's, Fronts 20x9 w/ 265-35-20's. Bridgestone S001's. Wheels are Adventus AVS 1's. They also make these in a 22x9 and 22x10. I will be calling them to see if a set can be made for the SRT-10, once I get it back. I think it will be cool to have matching wheels for the Ram and the CTS V.
