tranny problems?

ok last night i was kda beating around on my truck...well when i made it into town i was down shifting off the interstate. and felt/heard this nasty grinding noise the truck was already in gear..so i know wasn't grinding a ger but t sounded more like a players card hitting the flywheel if that makes any sence....and i felt it more threw my feet like in the flywheel clutch area..anybody else hve thi problem b4..... thats the 2nd time it's doneit to me but it will go for weeks with out doing it again

I don't have the RC I have the auto....so I don't know how strong the manual tranny is but I just dropped my truck off at the tranny shop this morning to get it repaired....don't f with the tranny trying to guess what it is...take it to a pro and have them determine the problem...because what the problem with your tranny now may have been the cause of something else.....best advice I can give you from my experiences!
