Finally got to see the movie, been workin soo much.
I dont even think I blinked once lol....

AWSOME MOVIE!!!

I went and saw it last Saturday in DLP at Arrowhead 18 Harkins in Peoria, AZ. The DLP Screen is nearly 1.5 times the size of a normal screen, and the sound system is far better... there are only 3 DLP Cinemas in the Phoenix area, and 1 in Yuma.

DLP means = Digital Light Projection (a Texas Instruments product), unlike regular film which over time gets all kinda of pops, nicks, static, etc.. DLP never does, and the images are crystal clear, and life like.

If you have not seen it in DLP go do it... =) its worth the price of another ticket.

I have a DLP 3500 lumen Projector at home, and a 110 inch screen, and when its in HD 1080i mode.. it kicks the as* of any other TV that I have seen... plus if fills my wall.. :)

The Sequel

The movie was the F@cking $hit. The sequel if one will ever be made should have the BAD Boy below. Instead of being a RC it should be a QC (hence my screen name). Kneel before thy Master.

Dont know what is going on here... Whaty was so special about the movie? Transforming vehicles? We have been watching commercials for the last 2 years with similar effects.

The acting was decent and the sound was good. I have to say it was hard to understand the transformers talking at times and the closeups were so busy with movement it was hard to focus on the rest of the scene. Optimus had so many f-ing things moving on his head in addition to the invented lips, I was like WTF?

I am a huge fan of the original Gen1 Transformers and aside from this movie being action packed, it could have even been named Gobots. ;)

Treker,

I agree the movie was nothing special. Micheal Bay tends to overuse the heavily motion-blurred "closups", it can wreck a perfectly good scene. However, I have to disagree about the tranfoming cars. I thought the animation was amazing and the integration of the robots into the photography was as good as it gets. The destruction and debris that integrated with the cg robots was beautiful work as well. All in all it think that the robots were the most photo-realistic characters I have ever seen on film.

Just saw it, very good movie. Could tell it was a michael bay movie with the unnecessary dramatic pans and scenic shots, but the action and the robot CGI was great.
