where is the sensor located?

Not sure about where and if it caused the other problem....somebody should chime in soon....I dont remember this code showing before..:dontknow:

The sensor is located on the trans over the park gear,I believe it uses the park gear as a tone wheel.There are a few possibilities for this code to set,First is the sensor itself,p.c.m.,and wiring issues.If you have no other trans codes,check the sensor.The sensor should have two wires(dark green/violet stripe & dark green/brown stripe.When you pull the sensor,check for debris on the tip and possible leakage through the sensor.Hope this helps,You can P.M. me if you need further help!!!

thanks for the help. I had our wrecker take the truck to the dealership this morning they said the warranty was good for another year. They called back this afternoon and said they had to order a new computer. Im glad I didn't have to fork out the money for that I need it for Vegas when I go to the SEMA show in November. I cant wait to see all of the new cars ( oh yeah i got married there 1 year ago)
