Truck at shop,STILL!!

Just got off the phone with tech and service writer. Had to wait over a week for a new valve body to come in plus a dent in the pass door was being fixed. Anyway, tech opened up the box and in his words, the valve body looked like someone played football with it. Hence it will probably take another 5 days for another valve body.

Just venting, sucks to be without the truck. Have a new SCT sitting in the box waiting to flash the PCM.

It's amazing how quickly we miss our trucks... I drive mine almost every day. It's been at the body shop for a full week getting a cosmetic makeover and I miss driving the thing so much. I pick it up tonight.

Tell your dealer you want the valve body expedited....if he does that he will probably get it the next day...they have to pay a little more but you will be in your truck sooner...I found out about this one time when I ordered a part and the parts guy said it would be about a week...I told the service mgr and he went over and told them to do an expedited order...it was there the next day by noon..

They are trying to get another one ASAP. I believe it was a matter of getting one. They will know by Monday what the deal is. I know the parts manager and tech personally so they are doing what they can. Still sucks though.

I think they packaged up Bigike's old valve body and sent that one out, lol
