Before I go buy one Ill ask. Anyone have a good quality cover for my quad cab that they want to sell. I am looking at something similar to a covercraft Block-It 380 Series or anything multilayer with a little more padding. I hope it will help with door dings in the parking lot. I plan on adding something on the inside to assist with this.

I am a huge fan of the coverking product.... The stormproof model is really nice and reasonably priced.......Call for a competitive price....

carcoverworld.com has the black stormking at $400 that price sound about right? It appears to be a better quality cover than the covercraft?
 
Depends on how much protection you want.....

But my Stormproof from coverking was only mid 200s.........

Spend what you like, but Coverking is high quality.... I wouldn't spend 400+ myself.

That was the web pricing I found from a link on the site. I would assume if I call them direct as you mention I could get a better price? In the even that I am not correct can you direct me to the right place, $200s is more my price and a much easier sell to the boss. Shit I sound like one of my customers, can I get a better price if I call in.

OK, I just went to the site and did a bit more homework......

The Silverguard for SRT-10 RC was the one I bought for our climate..... It was under $250....

However the Stormproof model which I just received for my Z was sold to me at a major discount....

The Stormproff for the QC is about (gulp) $500 bucks..... Sweet Savior, Jesus....

Yeah, it's high...... I'd definately call them and ask for Neal..... Remind him that he gave Tim Di Pietro in Oceanside, Ca. a smokin' deal and "can he possibly help you out a bit on price...."

Man, 500 bucks is alot for a car cover......

Besides, if you live in a mostly sunny climate, maybe the Silvergaurd will be enough for you..... Talk with Neal, he was a nice guy....

Will do, Im in central Texas so the weather is a joke. It was 83 this weekend and the weather people say its going to snow in northern texas easter weekend. My main issue is that the truck is my daily driver. I work at the local computer company. I always part next to one of the curbs so I can leave plenty of room on the other side. I noticed rock chips down the side of my truck and today watched the landscape crew weed eat around a car as I was walking in. So I havent seen it with my eyes but Im sure this is where they came from. I could hear crap hitting the vehicles around where they where cutting.

You might even wanna get the cables and lock (with which) to hold that cover down, too....

Hhaha, yeah that's a nono in my book aswelll... When i bought the truck in GA
they had the crew out back "clean" the truck... It was raining outside so i
didn't understand why they wanted to "clean" my truck... anyways long
story short. they took cotton towels and wiped down my truck leaving very
small swirl marks all over. i've tried everything to get them out diffrent polishes..
everything... you don't notice them under sunlight but under phosphorescent light
it's horrible. I plan on getting a car cover to keep out the dust the road
creates next to my house. Think dirt road...
