on the way back from sonic there was nobody on the road, so i told my wife to sit down shut up and hold on. there is corner that i can see around and can take at 40 quite easy, so i dropped a gear and took it at sixty,, half way around the corner the ass end breaks loose and i am drifting around the corner, so i start counter sterring and feathering the gas and think god she came out of the corner straight..... that scared the shit out of me,,,,think god i did not wreck my truck,,,,,,my wife thinks i am a idiot
 
hahaha....MsRice Eater would've freaked and started beating my ass from the passenger seat halfway through the turn and would've caused me to wreck anyways!!!
 
Up here with all the rain and slick streets, I think I spend 50% of my time driving by looking out the side windows.:D

Ought to happen at least once a week for good practice. Real fun is taking it to the autocross track to hone your skillz......:star:

No harm done, truck occupants and others fine. Great lesson, there are hundreds of statements that verify the cranky nature of the tailgate...she just want to lead...maybe others will benefit from your story...probably not...

That's why many of us are fair weather drivers only...and when you add boost...these things can get wild with very little encouragement. (But what a rush in the process don't you think!!!)
 
Hey man, i learned my lesson when i did that and rashed my rim... thank god
i didn't hop the curb and go into opposing traffic :eek: i NEVER floor it in a turn
as the outcome usually is not good.. however, i like to floor it from a stop
or while driving.. that is usually quite fun and controlable.. :D :rock:

I have always toldBrad let me know when you want to be an idiot behind the wheel but give me fair warning. I have no problem with it as long as I am prepared for it
