After returning from my trip to MN, St. Paul last week I noticed something different about the truck while walking up to her. Someone shoved something in the key hole on the driver side, and pretty much destroyed the key cylinder. Clearly someone tried to steel my truck while parked in the gargage at work. I wish I would caught them in the act.

 _UCKING _OCK _UCKERS

This really boils me over:mad: . Luckly she wasn't stolen and all that was damaged was the key cylinder. UUURRRRRRR:mad:                                                         :mad:          :mad:

This is starting to scare me....

Seems the market doesn't seem to know what these trucks are, but the thieves sure do.

My vote is with Jake, drawn and quartered

LitemUp, sure happy to hear she's still in the stable

Wow! Glad that was all that happened!!

Drawn and quartered is too easy, I vote for (Poorly) drawn and 1/16thed...

:D

Man, I'm so glad I don't live in Florida. It's a beautiful state, but I've had so much shit stolen down there and I don't even live there. I worked in Tampa for a couple winters and I learned real quick how sticky people's fingers are in Florida. People will steal ANYTHING there. It's very sad. I really like Florida, and I considered moving there. But the widespread property crime in that state was a major factor in my decision not to live there. Such a shame too, because it's so nice down there otherwise.

they wouldn't even got started it because of the security chip in the key..

i wanna put a recording camera in my truck.

Yeah, it's everywhere. But I think it's worse in Florida. Now where you live, Naples, I never had a problem. But then again I only was there for a month.

Do you still have those public access commercials about "the code" in Naples? I remember there were these commercials with this fatass standing there explaining petty and nitpickey code violations. I bet he wouldn't approve of those burnout marks you left on the street! :) That's gotta be some sort of violation.

That's man code for marking of territory - to show where you've been type thing. :p

I would say it sounds more like a vandal than a theft attempt. (Piss anybody off at work recently?) A pro car thief would have had the truck gone! (I guess it is possible it was an unexperienced thief!)

Anyway, my daddy aways taught me: a lock only keeps an honest person honest, if they want it bad enough, they will get it.

Back some twenty plus years I lost a 1962 Impala Bubble Top 409 car out of my locked garage during the day. Never was recovered as far as I know.

You would have to talk to mickey 1qk about the burn outs.We just about burned the road up in new port richey!! Have not seen the "code" commercial
but it does not surprise me.:D :D

It pretty much ever large city. OKC and Tulsa not much better.
My cousin has had a Hayabusa from his business, and a truck stolen in a parkinglot.
It to the point where if you have anything of value, people will try their damnest to take it from you.

First, you come out with the announcment that you may be selling your truck. NOW you tell us about someone trying to steal her... I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!! It's driving me INSAAAAAANE...:vollkommenauf: Could we get some good news please???:dontknow:

On a lighter note, I am very glad that the perp(s) didn't succeed. I would gladly replace a lock cylinder than lose that beautiful beast.
