Truck Trubble

I never would have expected what happened today to happen to a truck with less than 6000 miles on it, but today the truck died twice, while still having half a tank of gas, but when it did it read the gas empty and the light came on. In addition, the idle has become very sporadic and blips up and down now. I took it to the dealership about two hours ago and hopefully they will be able to tell me what is going on.

04s' seem to be having TPS issues (throttle posistion sensor),was the truck bucking and running rough?

After reading the site for over a year, I would already assume it's the TPS also, since it's an 04 model.

i'd better order one in advance.... just in case.... Stinker can sent it with the springs...

Found out what it was, and to my surprise it was a cable that goes to the pcm. The exhaust manifold (Stock mind you, but hopefully not for long) burnt one of the cables to the PCM. Weird right? So they just re-wired it and re-routed it.

I better check my pcm wires. Did they say this a common problem?

Lol I don't think dealer see's too many SRT-10's. I'm just glad they could work on it. You probably still outta check, couldn't hurt.
