I disconnected the negative battery cable to clear a AIT code and now the truck sounds completely different. Throttle response is bad and I am afraid to even get it out on the road. Is it possible to loose a tune by disconnecting the battery?

Nope, the tune is stored in the PCM like a hard drive. Do you have any codes? Cycle the key from off to run 3 times and report the codes displayed. The PCm also has to relearn after battery removal but shouldn't run that terrible at all.

Yea I had a dead battery yesterday and was scared id lose a tune but didn't.:) once I got new 1 but all was good on my end anyway

By the way this is a mopar perf. ecm. The truck idledlike it had a cam before, now it idles like my wifes suv:dontknow:
