This looks like a good spot to post this. I am wanting to collect data on my newly installed Roe s/c and a few other mods to send back to Sean for a 2.0 card. What do I need to read/record the parametrics? I have a good laptop. What software to use (thought I'd ask you guys before calling him). My truck works well if you turn the tow option on. But just running as you would everyday it shifts so hard into second you cant hold a beer and at wot it seemed to miss a bit at about 85. So, as you can see I need to get on this as I want everything to be smooth for the Nats.

Thanks for jumping on this one guys.

If you tell Sean your mods, he can make the tune and email it to you. I don't know if he charges for it.

What are your mods? I will be tuning mine this week and can help you out. Do you have the VEC 3 or 2?

Bone is home!

Welcome home and thanks for your service.

I was talking to Dave about a month ago about this very issue.. What you need
to do is get a dyno done with the SC. Send the Dyno results to Sean or Dave
and they should be able to handle a custom tune for your truck.... However,
i would suggest PBJ for a custom tune... just because i've seen dyno charts
on a before and after PBJ tune and it's incredible to say the least.. man really
knows how to tune stuff :D

When I got the VEC3 it came with the logging software on a CD.

You can plug the laptop to the VEC3 and run a log. For instance, take the truck on a ride with a buddy, and when you're ready, have him start the logging, and step on it. You save a few run logs and email them to Sean, he might be able to help out at that point.

I will work on mine (race gas, 93 octane, 87 octane, without meth, valet no start programs... maybe NOS)this week and can modify them for you. I already have the A/F ratio worked out. Timing this week.

send me your email (and if you have a dyno, send it)

I am haveing tuning isues as well.

I sent ROE my dyno runs, and they adjusted my 8D, 5D, and 1D with meth cards. Now I am running way rich (10.0 on my AEM gage). I am trying to get my computer to link with the VEC III, but sofar I have not been sucessful.

wiil do

Here ya go bone. Something going on with the upload pic thing. So this is the next best solution unless I send you a direct email then I can attach em that way.

Do you have the Air to Fuel ratio for the dyno run?

Why did they stop the dyno at 4750 RPM?

no idea

Ummm I dont have the air/fuel ratio. I remember it was way high like 12ish or somesuch. Does that make sense? All I have I gave you. I can contact this guy and see if he has the raw data.

I have no idea why he cut it off there Safety?

12.5-13 would be good. But to tune it, need to see the numbers according to the RPM.

around 5200 you will have your best torque number and the higher the RPM in our case, the higher the HP. So to cut it off at 4700???
