WoW!!!! Thats a Gen 2 engine correct? I say that because of the dual throttle bodies and the valve covers.

The engine that is in the truck currently is a "MOCK UP". It is just there to build other components around it. The block has holes in the side where a rod broke and came through.

There will be a GEN 3 motor in there when finished.
The valve covers are GEN 2 but are there just for mock up.

The intake manifold is a "one off" fabricated by Hogan Racing Manifolds.

The reason for the 2 throttle bodies/air doors is the size.
Each air door a is 90MM Accufab custom which is 3.543 inches inside diameter.
The stock air door size on a GEN 2 is 65MM which is 2.559 inches, inside diameter.
When it is finished there will be very few stock parts under the hood.

What a deal, I might have to think about that...................I thought about it.
Thanks for the offer, but it does have headers and I know how you feel about headers.
I could not ask you to invalidate your soverign thinking regarding useless performance enhancers.
I would not want you to predicate your purchase on a tenant that would voilate your value system.
I have far too much respect for you, to be a contributor to a catastrophic disruption of the empyrean balance of your psyche.

It will actually be a legal Super Comp vehicle. I doubt that I will run it in that calss.

Pacific Street Car (PSCA) has an 8.60 ET index class that prohibits electronics; ie throttle stops, delay boxes ect. I will probably run it there as a index bracket vehicle.
