how about the factory intercooler from dodge? and what could you do differantly to the sts system to help it?
i'd be happy with 650hp that spooled up real quick.
justing man i'mn one step ahead of you!
i already have the intercooler off an 04 cummins! it has the plastic tanks but i don't think i'm going to be pushing alot of boost so i shouldnt have to worry about blowing the tanks off..and why have a roe?! when i can more than likely get this done for leas than 3 grand?

I'm not sure what year trucks had which intercooler but some had plastic inlets and outlets. You are far better off with the one from BD if you want to go that way.

i know the stock intercooler off of an 04 can handle 40 pounds of boost got a buddy that is pushing closer to 50lbs with his right now

intercooler off a cummins does not fit........trust me frame is wider so the intercooler is wider and has to be cut down

uhhh mine bolted right up??
had to use a little longer bolts so the condencer still bolts to the same place cause now the intercooler and condenser bolt to the same place

factory or aftermarket we used an after market one and it was too wide:dontknow: :dontknow:

BD is far from a drop in, Im not using them anymore because the new ones look terrible (all cast endtanks now), are very expensive, and require a bunch of work to fit. I have intercooler options for anyone wanting to go with a custom setup, PM me if your interested.

it's the factory one im not looking for any crazy numbers just nice power!

i have an sts right now on my truck it goin to be taking off of it i want to go back to stock i built the motor on my truck over the winter and i still had problems i wrecked a lot of parts with the set up theres just no room to run it out here and enjoy it, yes it sounds good when you can get it to spool and pepole look at you like wtf is that. but if you gonna runn down the track its point less. a few shots of juice will be just fine. my best thing for you to think about is the (do i) trust me i got me thinking about it
Do I. NEED IT
DO I want my truck tied up when it brakes
do i need the power when a stang/ lightning pulls up.(when this happens are you on slicks no your just gonna blow the tire off the rims)
do i want to take a chance of blowing the motor apart AGAIN.
JUST THINK OF THE PRO AND CONS OF YOUR SET UP AND TAKE IT FROM THERE. i see your set up from nos

yes the motor is built for nitrous .... an i've been doing something about it so i dunno everybody has me thinking about doing it lol

dude go with the 88mm at least...76 is going to be a joke.
and no you wont be happy with 650rwhp...think about this, my viper prolly have around 580rwhp and weighs 2k pounds less. we tuned it...i looked a patrick and thought this is a joke...drove another 10# roe, sure its fun in 1st and 2nd gear...but the turbo beauty is in 4th gear...go 88mm or leave it N/A...and your going to break alot of stuff.

LOOK AT DOM, HE BREAKS CRAP ON THE DYNO

hey i broke my driveshaft on the street:D

If your engine is built for nitrous, most times compression is raised i would contact your builder and get specs, a boosted high compression engine is a very short lived. Plan on running alky?

depends on how far ya go ?

from 10k to 20k, you'll need a custom fuel system, clutch, electronics, jsut a ton of fun stuff.

but I do have a guy now that can duplicate my turbo manifolds for $2500:)
