thats a bunch of VIPEER shit! Tony......were fightin when i see u.....Vipers and trucks are different! havn't u learned that yet.........we will see what its gonna make.,....I say............

a BIG BILL!$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Damn, I thought we had some headstrong members...here's one interesting post....

Paxton can do over 800 rwhp on a stock motor on pump gas in cooler weather with a pully upgrade and we have made 925 on race gas with a paxton with no ice cooler and 100% stock motor not even headers with NO issues.

Its jsut info guys, If ya read the entire thing there is alot of good info since they have been doing it alot longer than us, I would really like to see boomer get mega numbers from your ride Blake, that would be killer, can you imagine the comotion it would cause in the neighborhood!:D

And Blake I'm pissed at you honey! You told me you were going to spend the weekend at brokeback mountain with me!
Now I understand you are spending you week with Patrick in laylowsands!:D

And I had the KY all warmed up! Bastage!:D

Thats a good read. Obiviously a turbo is goin to be capable of putting out better peak numbers.

Also - they are talking about Roe SC in the thread which puts out different numbers that the Paxton. The paxton is basically a pulley turned turbo and is capable of higher numbers than the Roe unit - but not as high as a turbo because of the parasitc loss.

Well a couple read the whole thread:D

I thought it was imformative to a point, just goes to show how good of a tune Nowwhat has and what a great job DC has done with his truck!

With the power that he is getting and going thru a auto at that!

Between DC and Gary I think they both have made major strides in the viper engine world of supercharging!

something else to think about is our trucks use the Dana super 60, which robs THE MOST power of ANY rear end. these trucks are at least 10% down on a Viper no matter what because of that, but the dana is a necessary evil to handle the weight of the truck.

Any better solution?? I know it would help alot if we could get real slicks on the back without a major overhaul and runnin at 130 on front brakes alone

I wonder if using a drum conversion kit for the rears would allow the installation of slicks. Its a decrease in braking but at least you have slicks.

I think having higher gears (4.88, 5.13) would help offset the bigger differential?

Boomer is right Dana 60s do suck power, and they are heavy, but they are strong as hell which is something we need with the power and weight of our trucks.

Bill.
