Turtle Update

Well we got up at 4:00AM this morning and took her to the hospital for her surgery, but when we got there they told us it was rescheduled for 2:00 PM today. So we are waiting for a few hours to take here back there. They want us there by noon, so I will be leaving work around 11:00 AM to get her there on time.

I will post updates on her condition when we know how she is doing.

Best to y'all it will go swimmingly! I promise :) no eating or drinking for 12 hours remember, they have was of finding out:)

OK, Turtle is home and resting on the couch. She is having some pain, but the medication should kick in very soon. We won't know just what the doctor found until tomorrow, so we will post more when we know more.

Feeling a little better - but still a little swollen, a little bruised, and feeling some pain - but definitely more cohorent. Yesterday was bad! I think it took way to long for me to come to.

I called the doctor today to find out what the results were and he didn't make it sound good. He told me that he didn't want to discuss it over a 5 minute phone call and that he didn't want to wait for the 2 week follow up. He wants to see me next week. He did tell me that my insides do not look good.

He did remove a cyst and having it checked out and he also said he had pictures that he wanted to show me. I have a feeling that I may be going in again for a more serious surgery. Unfortunately, I won't know exactly what's going on until next Thursday.

In the meantime, they gave 2 big bottles of pills to help deal with the pain :p

I'll let you know more next Thursday when they finally let me know exactly what they found :(

Good to see you up...first two days are always the worst. Keep your feet up (and your chin) and you got my # if you need to vent.:nurse:
