Mecury racing's VERY sweet 1075 sci. Mated to anumber 6 drvie at a total package cost of merely $125,000....what a bargain:dontknow:

Don't forget to save a little coin for the $10-15000 dollar "freshening/overhaul" at the recommended 80 hour interval.

Most offshore boats have TWO of these installed.

I believe they are actually Lysholm (sp?) superchargers. Yep, I'm into go fast boats also...I have a disease, I know.;)

I looked at a couple of jet boats for my local (small) lake. I nearly bought a 21 Daytona, and the factory that builds cougar boats is only 120 miles from me.
PM me some info on the boat.

That's the engine that's in my 21' Wellcraft . . . ;) I've had it where the only thing in the water is the prop!!!!! :captain:

:::wakes up from wet-dream:::

These were my last two boats, both sold now. It is true that the two happiest days in a man's life are the day he buys a boat, and the day he sells the damn thing.:D ;)

DCB F-29 (580 c.i. n/a motors-mild at 650hp each):

I never checked. I do know that the gas was the cheapest thing I ever put in that boat!!;)

The cat was pretty efficient from 70-90 MPH cruising, but at WOT (125 mph) you could literally see the fuel guages dropping. 80 gallons would last all day running pretty hard. I'm guessing 20-30 gallons per hour depending on speed.
