i put the continental tires on today, what a difference !!!!!!!!!!!!,i really felt a noticeble change, smooth ride over the pirellis and sorry but anyone who says different really has no basis, i have over 108k total in both my trucks all in pirellis,i think by now i'm qualified to say which tire is better!

Cool! Did that person you bought yours from have any more???
nah but i found them as low as 166.00 online, check ebay or google craigslist with the tire and size

How is the dress that comes with them :)

I only say that in a kidding way as I'm sure you've seen/read the other posts regarding the tires.

in what way are they better ? please detail..... :dontknow:
just an overall smoother ride,no matter how much i balanced my pirelli tires they always ran rough,if they hadnt run in a few days there would be a flat spot, just a crappy ride from the pirellis overall,i guess i just figured our trucks were supposed to drive like shit but fast

I'd say any tire would be better than the Pirellis. QA controller has really gone down hill.:dontknow:

I just recently got the Continentals and they do ride better. I don't think they grip as well under hard cornering though. For me, I wanted a better ride and don't mind the fact that the grip might be slightly less. I paid $150 per tire at Discount so the price is right for sure. Oh yeah, they will surely last more than 10,000 miles which is all I got from the Pirelli's. Overall, it's hard to go wrong with the Conti's.

you got 10K miles on ur Pirellis? :p if you get 10K miles on any tires for these trucks... you're simply not driving them hard enough:D

I think the General Grabber UHPs are basically the same tire as the Continentals (not sure, though) and they are night and day different better than the Pirellis.Smoother ride, better traction.Cornering seemed better to me than the Pirellis.

I love them on my VW ;) :p

My continentals are the Conticrosscontact 305/45/22's. I went with the 45's instead of 40's. And I got 10,000 miles out of the Pirelli's but they were slicks when I was done. I enjoyed the ease of sliding around corners once they were bald so I kept them longer than most sane people would.
