Under hood colour scheme

I need help choosing a colour scheme for under my hood. Truck is gray mineral metallic.

What do you guys think?

I'm just going to pick away at it over time. add a catch can, rad cover, rad pipes ect.

When I decided on mine I wanted to keep the red valve cover scheme and grays for other parts, so it was red/black snakeskin, gray/black snakeskin then mineral gray intake with satin billet accessories. Just go piece by piece and have fun doing it. Any underhood pics now to see????

It is untouched as far as colouring goes.

Start with removing the insulation on the upper cowl on firewall then shine it up, makes a big difference. Do you want to do powder coating of hydro dipping? That can help with the decision, dipping can be done on all parts, PC only on metals.

after just looking at other peoples under hood pictures, its a huge eye sore that has to go

My 06 is the same color and I found a powder coat that matches it perfectly. Can't recall the exact name of it but if you are having Justin do the work I can pass on the color to him. Here are a few shots of how it looks.

Not color related, but my K&N is oriented vertical like yours. I took it off for a clean and re-oil and I found that the bottom pleats are worn (not quite through). I reinstalled it horizontal. I was concerned that if worn through it is no longer a filter, but a dirt port.

Engine is not back together yet. Will send some pics of the other parts that were painted. The color is Hard Coal Metallic and is sold by PowderBuyThePound.

Anything goes with mineral....just about any contrasting color would look sweet...now inferno truck different story, not much goes with it..
