Unknown mods???

I bought a 05 RC about a month ago. Bought it from a 60 year old guy in ATL. He had only had the truck for a few months. He though the truck was all stock. He was wrong.

What I have figured out so far...

K&N CAI
Magnaflow Cat back
Cats gutted
X-Metal lowering kit
UD pulleys

My production manager has a pretty tricked out Mustang GT that has run consistent 13.65's. Thing is my truck, leaves him like he is chained to a bridge from ANY speed.

I haven't been to the track or dyno yet.

I guess my question is; any suggestions on figuring out what has been done to my ride?

Stock the truck is capable of low 13s...takes a good driver to get her launched...............mods you have list should make a high 12s so you should walk the stang easy..............

Pull your PCM to see if it was flashed....B&G & DC put stickers a on the back...I believe B&G has an "off road use only" sticker and DC has their name on it...other than that you may have an aftermarket TB or maybe even a cam..hard to tell on internal mods..

I will do that. I know the GT isn't fast, it's just the only known time vehicle I have to compare to.

I have had a few 10 second cars, still have one. Actually had a "street" car that went 9.87 in 1993. LOL

Just sold a 12.90 diesel. My 10 just seems faster that the diesel truck. I just don't think it should be with what i know about the 10.

Stock fuel injectors are about $350. 00 EACH new

Thats probably why you had turbo problems and such because you had the 6.0

a ten and a diesel arnt really a good comparison, the diesel will have some lag, the 10 just goes...cummins is a better product anyways
