I just put my truck up on jacks to change the oil, tranny fluid, and rotate the tires. I was finishing up some work on one of my motorcycles when I see a big brown truck pull away from my driveway. My midpipes from Justin arrived and I want them on tonight! I soaked all my hardware with penetration oil and will be doing the pipes last. What kind of time am I looking at to install the pipes? I'm going on a late night bike ride and want to have the truck done so I can roll around with my new found sound tomorrow. Any time estimates are appreciated, yes there will be beer drinking in between jobs to rehydrate so please don't add that into your estimate. Thanks! Off I go check back in an hour.. muhahahahaha.....

with air tools my mids were pulled out to replace the gaskets and re-installed in under 45 mins today....that is on a lift and it is obviously easier the 2nd time...:D

what gaskets??:dontknow:

Well I just got done with everything! The entire process took me about 9 hours to do everything. I got drunk last night and hung out with some of my boys so I quit working on the truck. Woke up this morning hung over at 10 a.m. and was back at it. The midpipes suck the first time but I could do it again in record time. I spent about 2 hours trying to get the damn collector clips off as 3 did not make it out like they were suppose to. The truck sounds so mean. I'm off to the shower to get ready for work I can't wait to see how she shifts with the new fluid and how much the pipes make a difference using the SOP scale.

That sounds about right, the first time is a PAIN!! Took me and a buddy 6 hours with a lift, 4 of which was just trying to get the old pipes off!!!

Damn the truck is loud! Love it. SOP scale on a 1-10 I would say a 4 the truck can definatly exhale now. I have a small exhaust leak around the clamp area I will need to fix. The truck shifts so much better now with syncromesh in it. I'm done modding for a while as I got other toys that are getting jealous they are not getting attention like the truck is. Thanks Justin great pipes! Cheers all.
