update to the tire buying experience

i simply love them!!!! i would buy again in a heartbeat.. i hope i am as happy this time next year with them as i am now....

Wish I had that mail in rebate coupon. Then mine would be only $110.

I am loving mine. They seem far better than the Pirellis !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't mean to sound dumb, but who makes the grabbers and do they work that much better. Please reply.

Any ideas on a tire primarily driven on the track...road racing to be specific? There will be some occasional driving on the street but if I buy something I'll look for something that handles better in a race environment...speeds generally under 130 mph.

Are Kelly Chargers available in 22'' fitments???:p :star:

you should get 2 free tickets to the Oprah show with those girl tires....:D

not to bang on anyone's tires, but when I got new tires I bought the same perellis as came from the factory. however, the new ones had MUCH better grip then the stock ones ever had. I'm wondering if the lot of us got a bad run of tires on the stock setup, or maybe from dry rotting at the dealership.

It may be that you just do not remember how the first set gripped when they were new. After they wear a little the traction really drops.:dontknow:

i ordered a set today local shop quoted me 165.00 a tire mounted and road balanced. i figured 20.00 a tire for mounting and balancing wasnt too bad for the grabbers

If I had a free set of Pirellis vs. the $600 I paid for the General Grabber UHPs,I MIGHT consider the free Pirellis. If the Pirellis were only $100 each and the Generals still cost $150,the Generals would win hands down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Until you have actually had them on your truck, you will never know how much better they ride.Mine seem to have much improved grip.I took one of favorite turns almost 10 mph faster with the Generals. :D

ok but you have to drive your truck while wearing a dress if you buy these girl tires...

Just saw a set of Grabbers on a Chebby and it looked good. That will be what I get when I need new tires.
