My truck has been falling on its face as of late too much fuel and no boost, and it has also been idling funny on cold starts (the rpms bounch up and down between 500 and 750 until the engine warms up. So, I went through all of the vacum/boost lines to make sure that I had no leaks from a cracked or loose line or connector. I found a cracked connector on my map sensor for the boost gauge and changed it out. Thought that was the problem, but it was still having the same problem. So I called my builder and told him my problem and he told me all of the possible problem areas to look at, one being the vacum line that is connected to the bottom of the throtle body. Sure enough that was my problem. Here is what I found. Thanks Doug! You saved me a lot of headache and aggravation. Simple $5 fix. Replaced it with 5/16 fuel line which is a little bit thicker and is not prone to cracking like the stocker.
