Yep, I'm an idiot

But there might be others out there that can benefit, so I'm gonna ask the question. Yes, I've read my Valentine Manual, but I'd like to get some real world input.

Where is the best place to mount the V1? I'm thinking about just to the left of the rearview, or possible just below it, but I wanna run the power cord so it looks clean. I would sincerely appreciate any specific descriptions around installs of those that feel you get good radar detection, look clean, hide the power cord, etc...., and any pics would rock as well :D

Gracias...

A few have hard-wired it through the ceiling light.
I tucked the cord into the dash from the steering wheel up to the rear view mirror. Can't see the cord at all and only takes a couple of minutes. You go around and under the pillar and up the left side of the driver window. I can easily remove the cord at any time.

I dunno.. I have a remote mount unit from Whistler.. Model 3500, and I have it tucked in behind the cup holder area of the center console.. and the sensor is up front, and transmits through the 12v system back to the brain. Works well.. has not failed me yet...

Jason,

Call me I will walk you through hard wiring it to your overhead console.

Then you want to mount it as high as possible without obstructing the rear view!!!

Thanks for the replies....Marc, will call you, and yes Patrick, looks like I missed it :D
