I just installed a KN intake and instead of running that valve breather line into the KN I would rather just install a filter directly on the valve cover as I have see on many of your engines... What size is the inlet for the filter so I can buy the correct one? Also is this recommended for my daily driver that, unfortunately, sees rain once in a while?

I know someone out there knows the breather I'm talking about! Any help?? Looking to try and pick one up tomorrow but want to know about the rain situation first

well its kinda a wierd deal, you can pick up a breather almost anywhere, and you basically have to fab up your own little way to mount it bo:dontknow:

I remember i used a small tube and a larger peice of rubber to mount mine

kickinassrt-10 are you talking about this

or a filter for the barbed fittings on each valve cover?

I think he's talking about the little breather filter that you can have instead of the tube going to the intake. I don't think water is going to affect it, but I could be wrong. What you can do is ask people on other forums also, mainly imports, because this is very popular with them and I see it all the time. I don't think they would be doing it if it effs up in the rain.

Go with the Roe Breather...connection is perfect...the breather is easily cleaned and it looks gooooooooooood!

kickinassrt-10, this is it right?

I don't see anything wrong with it, the intake is always exposed as well, so I'd go for it.

Yea spacemonkey that is exactly what it is.......Thanks guys....I'm going for it, Roe told me instead of buying one and having it shipped to me..I should just go to my local pepboys and look for one with a 1/2" inlet.....

I just ordered myself one from Roe, for my nice new Blue valve covers that are coming from Justin!:D

I just ordered candy red valve covers to match the hard pipes and catch can!
