Ok, is it just me, or do things seem to shake, rattle and roll and fall off of these trucks more than normal?

I was detailing my engine bay and noticed that I am missing a valve cover bolt, and a couple of plastic clips. I don't understand how a valve cover bolt can come off!:dontknow:

It just seems like there are a lot of people who have found loose or missing parts for no good reason. It's not like any of us are off-roading with these things... are we?? :dontknow:

I wonder how much the stealership wants for those stupid bolts!?

These engines are 90 degrees and 10 cylinders. They don't fire evenly and have some vibrations as a result.

The old Buick V6 engines were even worse, until they went with the offset rod journals on the cranks.

I actually when to a local hardware store and bought allen head stainless steel bolts and replaced all the stock valve cover bolts. It looks much better, and if I remember correctly they cost of the bolts was around $30.00.

Bill.
