Valve cover breather system

It has been posted before, and I actually started to do it in the begging but due to time I just tapped into the back of each valve cover, with a 10 an braided line, and routed it to two individual catch cans to relive internal pressure. It works great, jsut gotta remember to drain the catch cans often

What I am wondering is if someone could enlighten me on running the breather lines into the exhaust.

I know the dirt guys have done it for years, but how well or how much better will it work than just catch cans?

Also I know Muzzy, and arevu both I think have done this or know How, what I need is the part number for the one way valve, please
and the part number to connect into the exhaust or if I can connect it into the old o2 bungs.

And if there will be any side affects of doin this on a turbo system.

Stinker, I'll let them with real knowledge pipe in here, but I think that evacuation system only works at very high RPM and I don't think it's recommended for the street. I know that Moroso sells kits to do it with, they might be able to provide some technical insight as to proper applications etc. but I talked to them about putting this on my Blown ProStreet truck a few years back and they talked me out of it...

I know what I have now works exceptionally well, and jsut dont think it may be worth the change

Can you post a pic of your set-up? What kind of braided line did you use??

Tony I have an E-vac system on my Duster, it needs to be installed in the collector at a approximatly 45 degree angle so the exhaust gases rushing by cause a vacuum. Yes it is not very efficent at lower RPMs, but since it is under boost conditions that you are wanting it to draw the pressure out it should work pretty good for you.

stinker, weld a one way check valve at an angle in the collectors. they are made so they can be welded at the proper angle. this will work wonders on your ring sealing and boost power about 10hp at least.

is this just for foreced induction applications? what is the noticable effect?

Its good for any engine that runs high RPMS.

one question tho, ya'll say at the collector, well I got some short collectors or excuse me headers

but should they be put in before or after the o2 sensors?:dontknow:

I'm not real sure aout that, since mine is on a carbed engine.
