ValveCover question

Does anyone know what is under the viper logo that is on our valve covers? are they justy tig welded into the aluminum? an can be removed me and my paint guy have a kick ass idea and i need them off there lol

They are indeed cast into the valve cover. I tried to remove mine on our mill and ruined the valve cover...be very, very careful if you try.
 
thanks thats the info i needed!..... i just need some more room for airbrush work!

I you're going to try it, I would suggest a belt/disc sander...but as I said, they ain't very thick so go slowly...the voice of experience is speaking here...LOL!!!
 
well i desided agenst tring to get them off.. but i am looking for another set to do a custom set ....i'm in real good wqith a guy that own a machine shop. he did a set for his 67 mustang
