VEC 3 drain battery?

Did anyone notice after installing the VEC 3 if their truck sits for 3-4 weeks that the battery is drained?

Could just be my 4 year old battery going, but thought I would ask the question.

Now that Spring is here it is not an issue, as it will not sit for that long

Nope don't think the VEC will do that.. i know i've left mine for months on end while i was up in northern alberta working, and she started fine when i came home.

sounds like something was left on, or a pasasitic (sp?) draw somewhere on the system

As long as no one else has the issue I will chalk it up to a 4 year old battery.

Time for a battery mod

mine does the same thing just by a small trickle charger and keep it hooked up. save you a ton of money.

I have one, sits on the Viper all winter. Guess I need a second one.....
