VEC II Card Reader Mounts

Where are people mounting these things? I'll be placing mine inside the cab and having a no start program.

mine is on the outside wall, cant help ya on the no start though

The no start is just a tune with basically no timing or anything.

oh ok, sorry bro, I'm rushing trying ot finish something on my truck so I can get out of here gotta be in columbus ohio at 7 am!

but seems like someon else put theres in the cab and if I remember right it took 18 ft of wire but not sure, I would reather have mine in the cab, keeps it out of weatther. but mine for now is on the firewall nest to the computer

I had Roe put mine in the pocket under the air-conditioner controls...required 12 foot of cable.

I might have them put it there, that pocket is useless anyways and shit will just fly out of it.

Have installed mine (on both trucks) on the side of the K&N CAI box.

It has a year and a half of rain, heat, cold, etc with no problems (knock on wood)

You will need a custom harness to put it into the cab.
