VEC/NoS Question

How are you guys with VEC controlled NoS setups driving the solenoids ? I believe they are 12v and the VEC analog out is 5v. :dontknow:

Need another 12v relay ?

You add the pin#5 12V negative output to the VEC box to ground the relay.

So you activate the solenoid by adding gnd ? Will have to dig up the VEC docs.

Yes, ground the relay, not the solenoids.

MMMMtorque.....how big of a shot you going to run? Do you have a race gas/NOS tune on the Vec? I'm saving up for mine! Then a bigger fuel pump and a custome tune for a 200 shot!

Plan on doing a 150shot (wet), very similar install as Justins (sans his first stage) I am going to have a NoS tune to get the A/F where is needs to be and run stock timing. Then have a N/A tune for every day driving. Currently I dont plan to have a race gas tune with NoS....just depends on how things go at the track
