i wonder if you could stack them. use them both

Yes, you can stack them, works great. They fill in each other's "blanks" quite well. The SCT handles everything at the base level, and the VEC handles only boost, singular dimension fuel add/timing pull, and turns on/off any accessories you may have.

I cant stress enough guys how important the SCT is in the SRT-10 world, both in the car and the truck. The VEC cannot effectively turn off the Closed Loop Timeout circuit which is responible for blowing more engines "mysteriously" than any other single cause to date. Your 1000HP car/truck wants to run at 14.7:1 for 1.5 seconds after WOT (3 seconds at part throttle)- and there is NOTHING you can do about it without a flash tool, if you add more fuel, the system will just pull it back out as it tries to keep stoich. The VEC-3 has some "fooling" capability, but it is a bandaid at best, and doesnt work too well at all, on top of being unpredictable. Anyone who has tuned even an NA SRT with a VEC knows what dip I am talking about as you mash the gas- and you know the more you try to correct it, the worse the condition gets!

Yep, they can do it with their own flash system or with an SCT tool.

Agree, the VEC2 was a total PIA to tune in the lower RPMs due to the lag after WOT. The VEC3 is much better and has eased tuning quite a bit. I think I would rather go AEM but have no plans until this motor is a boat anchor.
