I am gearing up to purchase some new vehicles. Yes one will finally be a srt10. Interest rates have really risen since the last time I did this. If anybody is in the field or has an idea of were the best rate is I would really appreciate any advice/input.

0% @ 60 months back in November. Don't know if that is still being offered. . .

I am preapproved and waiting to spend the $$. These are the places I checked with:

- Lending Tree
Capital One - 6.49%
Road Loans - 6.39%

- USAA - 6.5%
- Navy Federal Credit Union - 6.5%

All of these were for 72 months.

I am going to owe for a long time :( Hope this helps.

Paul

You and me both. Or at least until rates come down and I can refi. I dont plan on selling though.

What are you looking for as far as SRT's? I am starting to become obsessed with looking.:dontknow:

Obsessed, I think about these trucks more than anything else. Sending pm.

If you have a good Fico score (700 or above) you can get 6.5 %. Thats The lowest I seen it. If you have a relationship with your local credit union They can always be helpful in terms of getting you a low rate. I put 15,000 down on My Qc and they gave me 6.5 % for 36 months

If you can get in with a credit union that is the way to go.

Navy Federal does have a 5% rate for a five year loan. My local bank would quote the same loan at 7%. Personally I buy all my cars with cash but that is just me. I'm not a drug dealer but get lots of questions when I write a check for the truck.

Good luck with you purcase. You will be more than happy.

I second the credit union, although, I will call my banker, within about an hour, I get a 30 day note to buy a vehicle, then pay it off once I pull the funds out which sometimes can take a week. If I were to finance anything, it would be through a CU. Just need 700+ Fica score, which can flucuate with the wind. Mine can go from 800+ to 780 and back over 800 in a few weeks and not have any changes.. :(

Just must be my monthly fuel bill.. :)
