SVT Freak is the man to ask some of those questions. But yes it handles way better now. Tomarrow she is going in for an alignment asa result of the drop (mandatory). There is a noticable bow from the front wheels; not too bad but something to be expected if it is not addressed after such a mod is installed.

Now that's the way these trucks are supposed to look !!!!

Hope the alignment goes better than mine. When Joe at PBJ would bring the toe in it was fine, when he tried to come out a bit it wouldnt adjust. It took us at least 2 hours. The new endlinks (I think) wouldt cooperate and were a total pain. Wish I knew ahead of time, I wouldnt have broken 2 fingers trying to help move the Viper off his rack to put my truck on.

Also, make sure the place thats doing the alignment has the proper gear for 22 inch tires. Most, including some Dodge dealerships only go up to 20 inches.

Joe did it the old fashion way and got it to within specs.

I was hoping to find out how the truck would handle 2 weekends ago. I was supposed to do some road racing but snow cancelled it. Cant help but think that with the lower center of gravity and the qa1's that it should to much better. I wont have it on a road coarse til august. This coarse is the same one I did last year. I still remember what my track times were so it should be a good comparison...being at the same track with the stock suspension compared to the now lowered adjustable shock approach.

Yeah I had an alignment done about 6 months ago at NTB and got the 5 year alignment package. The loaction I went to is about the only one in Houston equipped to handle these trucks. Now that you mention the dilemma I am wondering if they are going to have the same problems tomorrow. We shall soon see. I will surely report back in to keep everyone in the loop.

Thank you Jack. I'm just trying to get her to be almost as bad as yours (not bad meaning bad but BAD meaning good).

yes it is a 1-2 drop ANt. But wiill settle out to be about 1.5 in the front and 2 in the rear. You were so use to the 4x4 look you may have been scared off a LITTLE.

Anyway yes guys his truck look 10x's better now and look forward to more mods to his truck in the future. we have some plans up our sleeve for him and truck.

Ohhhh sweet domination... The time has come.:D

I stopped by a Dodge dealer on my way home from Denver a few days ago. They couldnt do it. I somehow have to trust someone at a local tire shop here in western Kansas that I think stocks and mounts tires/wheels bigger then 22 inches.

If NTB can't handle it I am sure I can return back to the place right next to where SVT Freak did the install.. I think the place was Aamaco...

The best color I might add. Without Silver, what would your name be? Brokeback? :D I know I'm gonna catch hell for that but what the heck.;)

Oh yes Blaine, I know. Every situation is independant of the other. If NTB can't do it (which I don't have a reason to doubt they can) I'll make it back to the place nex to PSI. I'm getting shivers everytime I walk through my garage and see her sitting there.:D I can't believe I didn't have that done sooner.:dontknow:

ANd just friendly info to the guys commenting about the alignment, and how "HARD" it is. It is not anymore difficult than any other truck. And if you dont know for sure what is going on down there then maybe you shouldn't comment.

Anthony i am glad you are happy and never listen to nay sayers but of course you know that......

Well put Blaine.:bandit: Every ride I've owned has been lowered and some just require a bit more tweaking by a KNOWLEDGEABLE shop.

Anthony, if you don't want to drive that far....Axle and Wheel on Hwy 225 does excellent work also. They have done every one of mine from the TT300ZX to the F-150 with the 5/7 drop AND the SRT-10......:D Also on the Probe GT they had to "notch" the strut tower braces to get the alignment in factory specs.

The down side...they are only open Mon-Fri. Let me know if you need more info.
