Thank you Anthony!! You are right, I didn't look on myspace  . I think the one with the stuffed animal is GHEY and it is my favorite - a big thanks to your little girl

The countryside is beautiful and I especially love the ones of the oil rig in the rough seas - AWESOME.

Thank you again for sharing, that is just what I was looking for :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :marchmellow: :congrats:

It's hard to believe how beautiful it is over there, and that house is adorable

Thank you for the comments everyone. I have more off shore pictures taken in the Caspian Sea and a short video while I was on a semisubmersable rig during a North Sea storm. I will post those later when I am in a place that has access to the photobucket site. For some reason the wireless connection was slow last night so I had to take a break...

Wifey, I wish I could have got a shot of that Loch Ness Monster. It was probably asleep when I was there. DRATS!!!

I'm patient   ;) :p :D

Great shots Anthony. Those in Norway on top of the mts reminded me of those 'Conan the Barbarian" movies... The land looks very old and weathered up there...............very cool.

What a coincidence.. LOL.. I watched Conan last night complete with the deleted scenes...

Here are some pictures of rigs I shot last month while in the Caspian Sea.

This first one was the real reason for me going to Baku... It was towed back to shore because it had a severely damaged $800k tool stuck in the derek (the center tower shaft) and was also carrying another $3.2 million in tools that were thought to be damaged. The owner of the drill site was too grateful when I spent three grueling days with a buddy getting those tools working again, thus saving him $3.6 million that he thought he would have to pay my company.

Here are other rigs currently in the Caspian Sea that we got to check out while spending the rest of our week there hanging around. People normally think it's hard work but at least the :eating:foods served on these floating cities are really good.:top:

Looks like about as much fuel I burn a month with both SRTs...

And here is a video of when I was on a rig in the North Sea during the Eirik Raude storm (the rig shown at the end of post #11 with the boat). It looks like the drill string is moving up and down BUT.. It's the entire rig moving with the waves. Sea sick material to say the least..

GREAT pic's Anthony, Thanks for sharing.  Safe travels:D

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately I have to wait until I get back to Houston so I can slap the camera on its dock and upload to post more. I'm going to take a fjord cruise (pronounced fee-yord) soon where I should get more incredible shots of mountains carved into enourmous U shapes from ancient glaciers that slid back and forth over the land.
