That's a casino Carl. The top is a resort with sand around an edgeless pool. Locals have to pay $100.00SG (or $70.00USD) to enter the building. This is to assure they have money to spend. Americans just need a passport to enter. But there's a dress code of slacks and at least a collar shirt. I was in shorts, sandals and a sleeveless shirt.. IT WAS FRICKEN HOT OUT CARL.

The humidity and heat in Houston is a relief compared to this equatorial country. Singapore is 25 miles long and 14 miles wide. 95% of it is concrete and the remaining 5% is preserved as natural habitat.
