Someday when he's old enough to understand, take him to Washington, DC. Many memorials (WW2, Vietnam, Koren) and museums to see. Plus all the Presidential memorials. Many days of things to do. Nice pics.

I got a call from my wife's kid-brother last night. He went on for about five minutes thanking me for my service and the sacrifices that my family and I made in the 20+ years that I served. I guess we did not think of it like that as we went through it - just doing my job and felt bad about dragging the family all over the world.

Boy, I did not expect that from him. Kinda choked me up - I did not think he noticed.

I guess I will have to find something else to fight with him about. :marchmellow:
