I had a great time as well and learned more about what makes my truck go. You won fair and square. Next time I do any racing I'll ice down the intercooler and focus on launches. I think the heat in the intercooler took away alot of the power I had with the supercharger. Your gearing gets you off the line a bit better then me. Add to that my boost doesnt kick in until at least 3500 rpm or so. It was a great race.

It does remind me of a recent thread about a supercharged '06 viper coupe against a stock Z06. The vette won some roll on races with little cooling down time in between. Since the supercharged Viper was likely heat soaked alot of his advantage disappeared and it became a drivers race...kind of like ours.

On a different note, I did get to take my friends '06 Z06 out for a quick spin yesterday. WOW!!

I wish I could of made it guys I'd show you both Black is the Fastest color!!!!

Dave...Dry ice will only go so far....a meth kit for a few hundred $$ will solve this problem, allow for more timing in the tune and protect you from detonation.....simple fix....just my .02

Not having a tuner close to me really screws up the whole process. If I add some water/meth (If I were to still have the truck) I need a tune. Trouble is nobody around here can tune a truck of this type. I dont know of any tuners in the Denver area so my choices are kind of limited. I'd love to send the truck to Dan at DC but the transportation costs and costs involved in optimizing what I have are something I dont have the money for (after the motor rebuild, etc). I feel better that the truck is running properly and it isnt a motor/tune issue.

I assume you are way up in the altitude? Times were a little low but that would explain some of it.
