I stepped up the power on my 06 mustang GT and installed a Roush m90 supercharger. Its not a big unit, only 5 lbs of boost and about 125 HP. Did the install with the help of two friends over a weekend. It wasnt difficult and actually was a lot of fun to do. Got a custom tune for my cams, longtubes and CAI and she started up right away. Later we took it to the track for some shakedown runs. DA was 1253, 85` in the afternoon and on my first run with my buddy riding shotgun filming I ran a 12.6@110. As the sun set and the temps started to cool off the car kept getting faster. Best run was 12.41@113. I was really taking it easy on the launches and not loading up the converter. I was running on MT ET streets so traction was not an issue. The car pulls like a SOB and was a blast to drive. I even raced a srt8 chally.......he lost bad. Had a great time during test n tune and the car was running without issue so I entered the bracket racing event and then had to slow the car down to 12.90s. That wasnt as fun as all out racing! LOL
Its really fun to be able to race and not worry about blowing up expensive srt10 parts.........And to finally get that 12 second time slip.:rock: 11s are so close now!!
