VIN on Engine

I spoke with Arrow Racing (they build the Viper motor for Dodge) today. I did not realize that the Truck does not have the VIN stamped on the block, although my Viper does. He said since the truck is assembled in Mexico and the engine is build in Detriot, they would have had a hard time matching the VINs.

I found that to be very interesting.

while inspecting my truck here they have to see a VIN on the block , after 2 days with the stupid f**ks at the station , we stamped a number on it

Did they ever find what went wrong with your motor? I can't find the thread.

CarDude will not discuss the motor issue at this time. I'll have to look at my blown motor in the garage and see if I can find a VIN.

does this mean that down the road say 30 years all the srt10 trucks will have the original motor cause there is no way to prove different?

Why the hell did Dodge let this happen. This is BS. These are speciality vehicles. Do our engines have any date codes?

Yes...there is some sort of date on the engine.
