Winterfest was this past weekend at Sebring - the group I road race my MINI with hosts this 4 day event. A rather new looking Viper did not do well in the SOLO group. Rumor is that it was all of 6 weeks old. To be SOLO qualified you have to run with this group no less then 5 times, we run at 3 tracks regularly and Daytona once a year, so the driver was probably very well experienced just not in this car. Damn shame.

Damn dude I know that guy... we street race with him..His name is Grant he's like 25-28....But he has the money to buy another:dontknow: .... I know, street racing is bad...... But hes from gainesville and we were just talking yesterday about him wrecking at sebring and my buddies said it wasnt pretty. That thing is NEW.... He lost Thurs. night to my buddies EVO ~450 awhp. But top end he ripped the evo a new one..... damn that sux....

Yes he survived. He's fine.Most of the damage is cosmetic but he's prolly still torqued about it.I know i would be.. Like I said he's got the money to buy another. I first got to see it thursday when he raced my friend Mitsubishi Evo(400+ awhp) and my other friends chevy race truck(350 ci on a 150 shot, 3 spd.& slicks)They both beat him pretty good though. The car was definitely nice though. Its a shame.....

Solo as in autocross, darting in and out of cones and that kinda stuff? Too bad for the car but if this was not a road course deal, how big of a cone did he hit?
