I haven't said anything about this in the past, but I fail to see the humor in anyone wrecking their car.
What's funny about it? Because it's a Chevy? My guess is he takes as much pride in his vehicle as most of the members here.

Nothing funny about it. I've been in my fair share of accidents and not one of them, even the minor ones, were a pleasant experience. Luckily though, it looks like this person suffered broken pride and some suspension issues. More luckily, his ride didn't come apart when he was "racing", which does not condone that this happened on the public highways.

I'd just graduated with the guy I hit. He was driving a Dart, I was driving my GF's really really old Datsun. The Datsun was totaled. The Dart got a scratch on the bumper.
That I found some humor in.
