I know we have quite a few members with Vipers. I'm doing a little research on the Viper GTS.

Can someone please enlighten me on the years the GTS came with forged internals??

Possible build list:

97-99 GTS with ceramic-coated headers plus-full exhaust, nitrous system with tune (VEC??), cam, heads, upgraded clutch/hydraulics if this is needed as well......:confused:

.....and when it blows up, built motor with a Paxton system/meth.

I saw one just like that on my way home from my dad's today on the highway. That is one sexy MFing car. Enough said...

Paxton is a waste, buy a CPE TT kit

i would pass on tat ebay car unless you can get it for low 30's, no one waants a red GTS, they are most produced and most plain vanilla

but you could put stripes on it!

Prob could....but the "friend" I'm searching for would rather build it from the ground up himself. Pretty much wants an unmolested car.

They are only the most produced because they made them in every year. In 1997 they made more Blue/White than they did red.;)


And my red one will smoke your blue one, lol.:D
 
Just did some quick research Burnt and you are even more wrong than I initially thought. :p

In 1996 and 1997 they made 2128 Blue/White GTS.
From 1997 to 2002 they made only 1921 Red non-ACR GTSs. If you include the ACRs they made only 2156 Red GTSs TOTAL.

So if you include the ACRs they only made 27 more Red than blue GTSs (they made 1 Blue GTS).


So there.





And Red is still faster.:D :D :D
 
I love it when others are arguing...and I am not in the middle of it for a change!

I do love Tim's...but the price on the blue and white is getting attractive...

So i did get under your skin...hahahahaahahahahahahahahahaha

FYI... a paxton kit causes alot of headaches if you need to service any of the items under the hood of the car...ie....water pump, alternator...the paxton needs to be removed...

roe with 100 shot in the top end .... FTW



Tim you sucks and so does your car, no one even likes vipers:D
when your not afraid to get into boost and use that w/m kit meet me at the track:p :D

Thanks for all of the responses guys. FWIW the ease of install will not be an issue because after getting tired of spraying the car or blowing it up....whichever comes first......:marchmellow: .....The motor will be pulled, built for some NASTY boost pressures and re-installed.:slug:

your never going to blow up that motor...you could put a paxton on it and run 900rwhp (which you will need heads) and drive it and flog it for 50k miles before you have any problems.
Darius/Javo's old B&W has a heffner TT with 935rwhp/1100rwtq with 30k miles on a stock engine.

you might blow it with a 400 shot, but you have guys running a 10# roe with 150 shots all day at the track on stock GenII engines
