viper hood emblem install help

Hey guys, I ordered JMB viper hood emblem and it recently arrived. I will need your help with how to install it. Can anyone of you post up the steps on how to install it? Thanks!

however, i wouldn't suggest you use my method of Breakin a razor blade and scraping
off the excess epoxy... didn't fair well with the paint... not saying i'm missing
a huge amount or anything... just some small rock chips..

EDIT: forgot to mention... Too much heat + less time = bad.. less heat + more time = good

Man what a PIA is was to get the old one off.scared it up a little too!
I tried to be sooo careful tone member was thinking about taking a drill
and starting from the middle.Nice and easy and chip that mo fo out.I wish I would have thought of that !!! Good luck.They do look nice.

i would try a little heat :dontknow: then use gas/mineral spirits to get it off..
just remember. gas/mineral spirits will require ALOT of elbow grease.. make sure
you have two tubes with you j/k but serously.. try to get most of it off before
using gas/mineral spirts

3M Adhesive Remover...use braided fishing line...blow dryer...go slow and be very patient. Make sure you have another to go over the pad...you have to replace the emblem with something...because the Ram Head is on a recessed pad on the hood...you cannot leave it blank, it will look terrible.

Unless you fill the hole and paint the grill surround, which is what I did. However that is a much better emblem than the stock one.

I recently removed the stock emblems. Everything is going good. I am going to install the new emblem and will take pictures soon but first, I need to go to a shop to buy more batterys for the camera.

There are nubs on the inside of the grille on the back. I think you can probably get it off that way. Maybe drill it out from behind.

I cut off the nubs and pushed it out from behind after hitting it with heat gun

I took a pair of linesman pliers (the big thick ones) and put it right on the rams head tight and yanked. Popped right off.
