Viper hood on HEMI?

I saw a HEMI truck yesterday. It was the dodge orange color with a daytona wing. But i was confused b/c it had a srt-10 style hood that had a HEMI badge on the side of the scoop. Sorry i wasn't quick enough with my camera. Just wondering if there are some around like that or did he buy a hood?

Not sure, but I think some of them came like that? I have seen them, too :dontknow: Rumblebees have them too

Yes, the Daytona's come with the SRT hood (opening closed).

The Rumble Bee before mentioned does NOT come with the SRT hood. It has the fake crappy stick on scoop.

saw one at a dealer in my area ---it was a viper hood on a hemi---stopped and checked it out----definatly the real hood ---it was a black qc----but no viper powered badge on it -----
 
In my town there is a Red Hemi that has the complete SRT hood, wing, body kit, and exhaust tips. Except it is the stock height with the stock 20 inch wheels and Hemi emblems. The guy won't even look at me when I drive by in my 10.

same here. there is a guy in this county that has a blue dodge 1500 RC. Put aftermarket 20's on it, srt 10 wing and hood. but there is not even hemi badges on it. i think it is a 6 banger. and he also has never acted interested in my truck. funny as hell!

One thing about our hoods is the real srt hood has slightly more of a cowl raise, it is about a finger width higher than the poser hoods. I heard the poser hoods run about $700 and a original one is $1200:eek:

I don't know if the Daytona's came with the srt hood. But I will put money on it that SRT hoods that were added on are not authentic.
 
I see allot of hemi's with the srt10 hoods here. Like the other posters said they don't even look at me.
 
up here in edmonton .. every single hemi and non srt truck has our hood on it.. .. i see about 5 to 10 a day up here ...

Sorry Bee....lot of cylinders on this forum....but your truck gets attention...there are several around here.....including one om my dealer's used lot...awesome looking trucks...and the Hemi is no slouch....:)

Well thanks but i will tell you it is a turd next to Kevans SRT i mean the design and everything was very well thought out on your trucks compaired to mine
