heh everybody!!!! bought a clutch kit from boomer but it didn't come with directions!!!! tried calling him but he is in las vegas until next week, and i was wondering where the "shim" went for the clutch slave?????i seached the site but could find no pix on this!!!! any pix or directions would be appreciated as i'm having my buddies at the ford dealer install the clutch and they will want to know!!!!! i would really like some install directions if anybody has some but will settle for what ever info i can get!!!!!

thanks a bunch and ROCK-ON!!!!!

the shim is for the slave cylinder and goes on the fire wall to adjust the clutch pedel back to factory.

I agree with Dragon...but isn't there one that goes on the front of the transmission under the throwout bearing???

no that is the shim for the master cylinder...the shim for the the slave goes behind the slave cylinder in between the transmission and slave cylinder!

there are two shims
1.)shim for the mastercylinder (goes between master and firewall in the engine compartment.)
2.)shim for slave cylinder in between slave and transmission(see above pics)

i thought that the pix you posted was of the throw-out bearing??????? maybe i'm wrong, hell i've been wrong plenty of time in the past!!!!!! as far as i can tell, the shim goes in between the slave and the firewall some way or another!!!! anybody have a picture of one installed????? as they say, pix are worth a thousand words!!!!

the peice on top is the throw out bearing the pix are of the slave cylinder! a pic of what shim you are talking about and ill tell you where it goes
