Viper Truck heads

Are the heads (mechanical...not emblems or human heads...LOL) on our trucks the same ones that are on gen III car motors?

I did run into a diffrence with chamber size. I bought some used Gen III heads and had them ported. When we removed the heads from my truck and measured the chamber volume my heads were about 8cc larger...I never could find anyone that could explain this..
