You should have kicked him off his step-stool. That's the only way he could have been "whispering in your ear". Unless you were bending over. And you never want to do that around one of these fellas.

See the first sentence. We were talking on the phone. I wouldn't actually allow him to get close enough to whisper in my ear. That's too close for comfort and I don't want him getting his jollies rubbing up against me. That's Steve's job.
